J&M's new 7 ¼" round subs are the largest diameter speakers that can be installed into the Harley® RoadGlide style fairing, with cone volume and mass comparable to a 6X9" speaker.
This new two-way high-performance speaker set has been designed specifically for the 1998-2005 Harley RoadGlide fairing (see important note below).
Spec'd at 8 ohms impedance and 140+ watts max power, these new speakers provide the ultimate in bass response, extended mid/high frequency range and raw audio power.
They feature a waterproof injection-molded polycarbonate woofer cone, high-flux strength but light-weight dual-donut Neodymium magnet, high efficiency voice coil, the latest design grillwork with mounted black tweeter and midrange, and top-quality adapter rings/bracket hardware for secure and clean mounting into the fairing.
Their mounting hole pattern and spade electrical connections are exactly the same as the factory specification, this is a total plug-and-play solution complete with easy to follow installation instructions.
Also included are easy to install, adhesive backed, inside the fairing acoustic foam pads to help tighten up the bass and improve overall fairing audio resonance.
These are THE most efficient speakers you can buy for your Harley and they will perform extremely well with the stock Harley HK radio system, while still durable enough to handle a high-powered accessory amplifier should one be installed.

IMPORTANT NOTE : Some 1998 thru 2005 model Road-Glides require the replacement of the factory grill assembly/speaker adapter in order for the J&M 7.25 speaker kit to be installed. It will be necessary to remove the outer fairing and inspect the factory installed grill/adapter assemblies to determine if they need to be replaced. The early style assemblies can be identified by the method of attachment to the inner fairing. If the screws attaching the speaker go completely through the grill/adapter and into the inner fairing mounting bosses you have the early style assemblies and they will need to be replaced with the later style factory grill/adapter assemblies and mounting hardware listed below. The later style grill/adapter utilizes independent hardware to attach it to the inner fairing then the speaker is attached to the grill/adapter with 4 additional screws. If you have the later style assemblies, the J&M 7.25 speaker kit will fit with no additional parts or hardware needed.
